Hi
Somehow, I came across this post and had to share this.

These Eskies belong to Montmorency Scout Group and were purchased by a former Scout several years ago as a gift to the Montmorency Scout Troop for all they had done for him. Apparently, he bought one soon after starting work and his parents chipped in an equal amount to purchase the second.

The Scout Troop named one "Billy", the other "Bob", in recognition of the former Scout's nickname, "BillyBob".

Cheers,
Joseph

Zachary’s offense? Taking a camping utensil that can serve as a knife, fork and spoon to school. He was so excited about recently joining the Cub Scouts that he wanted to use it at lunch. School officials concluded that he had violated their zero-tolerance policy on weapons, and Zachary was suspended and now faces 45 days in the district’s reform school.

LANSINGBURGH — The possession of a keychain pocketknife could have severe consequences on the future of a local high school student.
Matthew Whalen, a 17-year-old senior at Lansingburgh High School, was placed on a 20-day suspension after school officials found a two-inch pocketknife in the glove compartment of his car.

2009-03-26 Raingutter Regatta
We ran a trial regatta using styrene and skewer boats which went over pretty well. We'll give the actual 'official' model a run in the future if we can make our own blanks locally (the postage is a killer for the US kits!)
