hi :)

I'm in charge of ScoutLink for people aged 21 or under.

If your organising a JOTI even you may well want to take a look at the ScoutLink Global Youth JOTI pages at http://youth.scoutlink.net/joti and the the ScoutLink Global Youth Resources for Adults pages at http://youth.scoutlink.net/adults/welcome-to-ScoutLink-Global-Youth.html

note: we understand that their are some problems accessing the ScoutLink Global Youth website from Australia and New Zealand - if your one of the people effected by this then im sorry - me and several other people have been busily e-mail ISPs around the world trying to get the problem fixed.

Also, if you can make it to the youth website and their is something that you would like to know and cant find leave a message on the guestbook and we will *try* to help :)

JOTI is Jamboree on the Internet
This generally easier for those groups that do not have access to amateur radio. You can download an IRC program and get started straight away.

JOTA is Jamboree on the Air
To really get involved you will need to have access to amateur radio either via an amateur radio club or convincing you Leader(s) to become licensed :)
Without amateur radio gear? You can use UHF/CB radio to play some radio games locally, but these radios are restricted to local use and as such are not used to talk between groups for JOTA.
